Council & Leadership

LAZ is governed by an elected Council comprising the President, Vice-President and a body of elected members representing the profession nationally.

The Council is supported by a Secretariat responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Association, and by standing committees covering CPD, ethics, legal aid, gender and human rights, and other areas of the Association's mandate.

Council elections are held at the Annual General Meeting in accordance with the LAZ Constitution.
