The Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) is the statutory professional body established under the Law Association of Zambia Act to regulate and represent legal practitioners in Zambia.

We exist to uphold the rule of law, maintain the standards and independence of the legal profession, and promote access to justice for all Zambians.

Every advocate admitted to practise in Zambia is a member of the Association, which is governed by an elected Council and supported by a network of standing committees covering everything from continuing professional development to ethics and legal aid.
