LAZ Statement on Anti-Corruption and the Rule of Law
The Law Association of Zambia reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the rule of law, judicial independence, and the fight against corruption in all its forms.
As the statutory body representing the legal profession, LAZ continues to monitor developments affecting the independence of the judiciary and the integrity of Zambia's legal institutions, and will not hesitate to speak out where these principles are threatened.
The Association calls on all stakeholders — government, the judiciary, and civil society — to work together in upholding these founding principles of a just and democratic Zambia.
